Growing up in the North- west region of Cameroon I was very lucky to be surrounded by such rich cultural influences which really shaped my thinking. As a little girl I loved reorganizing and beautifying stuff from interior decor to clothing to whatever really. in remember my mum always brought home vogue magazine which weren’t popular at the time, and I read those religiously, cutup the photos made collages and got in some trouble  but essentially and it gave me a window of imagination, birth my passion for fashion and set me on a path of thinking like a designer.  I love African fashion and I always wondered why it was not more mainstream. I had a strong desire to normalize enjoying African fashion on an everyday basis and having that be appropriate and nicely incorporated into our everyday looks as events. so While at the university studying business my desire to pursue my passion grew and I began to self-educate and seek out training on the side and later began my very first fashion line called TYY Inspired which focused on afro-urban fashion. I got involved a lot with cultural events and pageants where I presented my very my collections hence my introduction to fashion. Moving to the United States with a passion to pursue my dreams had been such an eye opener for me and gave me such a deeper appreciation for not just my culture but a blend of so many. So set out design pieces which are essentially African inspired and as well culturally inclusive.

Truly AGHAA was birth from my person journey as a young woman trying find themselves and their unique style amidst the influences of a fast-paced fashion world and fueled by my own insecurities, and overcoming those insecurities and evolving on to values of self-love and acceptance, ELEGANCE, CONFIDENCE , FEMININITY and a deep love for my culture . Truly growing into myself means allowing myself to love what I love, be self-assured and not feeling a need to conform which is evident in how we present.
